Duplicating notifications

If you want to quickly create a similar notification without starting from scratch, you can duplicate any existing notification in Stockie.

This is useful when you want to reuse the same setup — for example, the same recipients, frequency, or product filters — but make small adjustments like changing the send time or included products.

How to duplicate a notification

1. Go to the Notifications page in the Stockie app.
2. Select the checkbox next to the notification you want to copy.
3. Click the ⋯ (more options) button next to it.
4. Select Duplicate notification.
5. Confirm by clicking Duplicate in the dialog box.

What happens next

• A copy of your notification is created immediately.
• It includes all of the same settings, products, and recipients as the original.
• The new notification name will include “(copy)” at the end.
• If the original notification was active, the new one will also start running right away.

You can edit or deactivate the duplicated notification at any time without affecting the original.

Tip

💡 After duplicating, open the new notification and review its:

• Name (to avoid confusion)
• Products or thresholds
• Recipients (especially if team members change)
