Importing your Stocky purchase order history

If you exported your purchase order history from Stocky before it closed, we can import it into Stockie, including orders that were already received.

The file we need

Stocky's Purchase order items report, exported to CSV.

It has to be the items report. The purchase order summary export carries dates and totals but not the products and quantities on each order, so it cannot rebuild the orders.

What comes across

Orders that were fully received, partly received and not received at all.

• Received orders come in as Received, as a record. They do not change your Shopify inventory
• Orders still to arrive come in as Draft
• A partly received order is split into a Received order for what arrived and a Draft for the rest

How many

You can import up to 1,000 purchase orders.

Before marking a draft as ordered

Marking an imported draft as ordered adds its quantities to incoming stock in Shopify. Cutting over without double-counting inventory covers what to check first.

Sorting after an import

Imported orders keep their original numbering, so your purchase order list holds two numbering styles for a while. Sorting oldest to newest sorts on Stockie's internal sequence rather than the purchase order date, which puts imported history after orders already in your store.

Sorting by a date column gives chronological order.

Checking it landed correctly

We send back a summary of what was imported, so you can spot-check a few orders - quantities, costs and status.
