Shopify Flow, metafields and your storefront
Stockie writes very little to your Shopify store: inventory levels, costs where you have cost sync switched on, and an incoming stock date metafield if you connect one.
Metafields
On Pro Plus, Stockie can keep each variant's expected arrival date from your purchase orders in a variant metafield you choose. See Showing incoming stock dates on your storefront. Other Stockie data, such as supplier names, is not written to metafields.
Your storefront
Stockie does not edit your storefront, themes or templates. Your theme can read the incoming stock date metafield to show customers when stock is due back.
Product tags
Stockie reads your Shopify tags and uses them - for supplier product assignment, forecast scope and notification conditions - but does not create or change them. Product data stays in Shopify.
Shopify Flow
There are no Stockie triggers or actions in Flow, so a Stockie event cannot start a Flow workflow.
Scheduled exports
Reports can be exported on demand, or scheduled for email delivery from each report page. There is no delivery to an SFTP server. See exporting reports.
