Why Am I Not Receiving My Email Notifications?
There are a few reasons why you might not receive an email:
- The email may be going to your spam/junk folder
- Your email address may not have been entered correctly in the notification. Check the Stockie app to make sure all the details you have entered are correct for the low stock notifications you've setup.
- You may have an instant notification setup. Please also be aware that for instant notifications, once you have received an email for a product/variant, the next time you will receive the instant notification for that same product/variant is when the inventory goes back above the threshold and then subsequently falls back to the threshold. - Your email address may have been incorrectly blocked by our email provider. This can happen if an email bounces from your mailbox. If you suspect this may have happened, or would like us to check, please get in touch via the support widget below or at support@plutonian.io.
- If you using Gmail, your low stock notifications may be getting hidden in the "Promotions" tab. Sometimes Gmail seems to incorrectly categorise our emails as promotional emails and it puts them into a separate tab that can be hard to find. Check the "Promotions" tab via Gmail and drag and drop the email back into your inbox to prevent it happening again.
Steps to take if you are not receiving notifications:
- Make sure you can receive notifications from Stockie by hitting the "Send Now" button on the notification page in the Stockie app.
