Configure Your Products and Thresholds
Click the Manage products and thresholds button from your notification.
Choose the type of notification you’d like to create, select which products to monitor, and set your desired low stock thresholds.
Standard vs Advanced Notifications
When creating a new notification in Stockie, you can choose between Standard and Advanced notifications. The right option depends on how much control you need over your low stock thresholds.
Standard Notification
- Set a single low stock threshold that applies to all products included in the notification.
- Simple and quick to set up — ideal if you want a consistent threshold across your inventory.
- Great for smaller stores or teams that prefer a straightforward approach.
See Creating a standard notification for more info.
Advanced Notification
- Set different thresholds for individual product variants, giving you more flexibility and precision.
- Includes a built-in interface for editing thresholds directly in the app.
- Supports CSV import/export, so you can manage thresholds in bulk if you prefer using spreadsheets.
- Best suited for stores with a wide range of products or varying stock requirements.
See Creating an advanced notification for more info.
Threshold Settings
The Threshold Settings section lets you fine-tune how Stockie calculates and displays low stock alerts. There are two optional checkboxes you can enable depending on how you manage your inventory:
✅ Include Incoming Inventory
- When enabled, Stockie will count incoming inventory from purchase orders and transfers as part of your available stock.
- This can help reduce unnecessary alerts for items that are already on the way.
- If left unchecked, only the current available inventory will be used to determine whether a product is low in stock.
💡 This setting is useful if you want your alerts to reflect future replenishments and avoid reordering stock that’s already inbound.
✅ Include Draft and Archived Products
- When enabled, Stockie will include products with “Draft” or “Archived” status in your notifications.
- This is helpful if you manage inventory for upcoming products or temporarily paused listings.
💡 If this setting is turned off, only active products will be monitored.
