How Stockie keeps you in stock
Stockie helps you stay on top of your inventory by sending timely low stock alerts and forecasting when you’ll need to reorder — so you can restock at the right time and never miss a sale.
How it works
Stockie connects to your Shopify store and uses your store’s inventory data to identify products that are running low or are predicted to run out soon.
Depending on your plan, Stockie can:
- Send low stock notifications when products reach your defined threshold, or
- Use forecasting to automatically calculate reorder points based on sales patterns and supplier lead times.
Two ways to manage your inventory
Stockie offers two modes to fit your workflow:
📬 Classic Mode — Manual control
You set your own low stock thresholds for each product or collection.
When a product drops to that level, Stockie includes it in your notification.
Perfect for smaller catalogs or merchants who prefer hands-on control.

🚀 Smart Mode — Automatic forecasting
Stockie automatically calculates reorder points for each product based on your:
- Sales velocity (average daily sales)
- Lead time (days for new stock to arrive)
- Safety stock (extra buffer days of inventory)
This helps you reorder before you run out — without needing to set manual thresholds.

Notifications that keep you informed
You control how and when Stockie notifies you:
- Scheduled notifications – get a summary email at a set time (daily, weekly, or fortnightly).
- Instant notifications – receive an alert as soon as a product crosses its threshold.
- Send now – trigger an on-demand summary whenever you need it.
